This claim that packed beds were invented when a plate experiment went wrong:

  • Do we have any info on this? It sounds strange to me that plate columns would have existed before packed columns. Very strange.
  • This Sajeed Hassan. I can't find any evidence of his invention on the web. Does someone have a paper source?
