Packet One Networks Sendirian Berhad is the leading Wimax service provider in Malaysia. P1 is a converged telecommunications and broadband service provider established in 2002 and a subsidiary of Green Packet Berhad, a leading Global Technology Solutions and Services Company.

[edit] Michael Lai (CEO) Profile
Michael Lai, CEO of P1, is responsible for strategizing and overseeing the development of P1’s business, and leading P1 towards realizing its vision and mission.
Prior to joining P1, Michael was the CEO of TMNet, the largest ISP in Malaysia and South-East Asia during his tenure. While leading TMNet, Michael catapulted TMNet into a RM1 Billion company within 1.5 year; quantum-leaped TMNet's profit before tax and broadband customers by more than 1100% and 352% respectively in one year.
Prior to TMNet, Michael was the SVP of Branding and Market Development for Celcom, Malaysia's premier mobile operator and the Marketing Director of Oracle Malaysia.
Michael is an Electrical Engineer by training with a Master Degree in Business Administration.
Prior to joining Green Packet, Michael was the Chief Executive Officer of TM Net Sdn Bhd from 2005. He was the Senior Vice President, Branding & Market Development of Celcom Malaysia Berhad and Marketing Director of Oracle Corporation Malaysia Sdn Bhd prior to leading TM Net.
