Pacific-TV or Pacific Television is a local TV-Station in Indonesia which is broadcasted in the City of Manado.
With the power of 1.000 Kw and 1.500 Kw transmitter power, the service can be received in Manado and Minahasa. established by local enterpreuneur Jusak Kereh on June 2003. With human resources from nation's capital Jakarta and local people, the station began their first airing on October 8, 2003 with 8 hours of broadcasting hour.
Four months later the time was extended , starting from 6am until 12pm, 18 hours broadcasting hours had achieved by December 10, 2003.
Recently on the first quarter of 2007, they have increased the service to 20 hours airing everyday. High-standard quality TV-Programs which is set from its Programming Department (Lead by Evert Politton) has made this station put themself to reach equal quality to other national television stations broadcasted in the area. Several achievements they get are the third best local station from the Cakram Magazine Award two years in a row in 2003 and 2004. Later in December 2006, the same magazine stated Pacific-TV as the Big-5 of A-Category local station in Indonesia.
