The Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus is a public secondary school for ninth grade students in the Issaquah School District of King County. The school is located in the U.S. city of Issaquah, Washington and opened in 2005. Since its foundation, Dana Bailey has been the principal of the school.
[edit] History
The Freshman Campus was built in less than a year at a cost of approximately $26 million, although this figure could be close to twice as much, as stated on a KING-TV news report close to the start of the first school year[citation needed]. Ground was broken on July 2nd, 2004, and the buildings were ready by the start of the 2005-2006 school year[citation needed]. However, much construction was still being done after the school opened[citation needed]. In its opening year, the school held about 1,000 students that would have otherwise occupied Issaquah and Skyline high schools[citation needed].
