Pachyhynobius shangchengensis is a species of salamander in the Hynobiidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Pachyhynobius. It is endemic to China. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
