Pacer Stacktrain is a provider of wholesale intermodal transportation services in North America. In 1984, under its former operator APL (American President Lines), the company changed the way containerized freight is distributed with the introduction of "double-stack" rail services. Pacer Stacktrain's parent company, Pacer International, is a member of the Fortune 1000.
