[edit] Why I created this category
I was recently speaking with Erika Castaño of Oregon State University's Multicultural Archives [1] about Colegio Cesar Chavez. She told me there is a great deal of interest in Colegio within academic circles, and in fact a great deal of interest in Hispanic culture within the Pacific Northwest. She told me that there has not been much work done on the topic and scholars are finally interested in the topic. So, I figured creating this category would be helpful in that regard. -- Andrew Parodi 08:53, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
