Pablo Cuevas (born January 1, 1986, in Concordia, Argentina, but of Uruguayan nationality) is a professional Uruguayan tennis player. At the 2007 French Open, Cuevas and Argentinan partner Carlos Berlocq made the third round of the men's doubles tournament. Cuevas, as of February 5, 2007, was ranked 88 for singles and has reached a career-high singles ranking of World number 88, achieved on February 4, 2008, and is ranked 65 in Doubles, first achieved on November 5, 2007. Cuevas has won the Tunica, Scheveningen, and Lima singles Challenger title and the São Paulo-1 and Florianópolis-2 doubles Challenger tities. As of July 7, 2007, Cuevas has earned US$ 98,388 in prize money. Pablo is 11-3 for Davis Cup singles matches and 3–3 for Davis Cup doubles matches. He is 14-6 in total at the Davis Cup on the Uruguay Davis Cup team.
By winning the 2008 French Open men's doubles crown, partnering Peruvian Luis Horna, the duo became the first all-South American doubles team to win a Grand Slam title. Cuevas also became the first player from Uruguay to win a Grand Slam title.
