A pic of Pennsylvania Ave taken from the Old Post Office tower by me on April 6, 2006. I have added the red line to show the line of sight from the US Capitol which shows clearly that the WH is too far to the north to receive this axis. Whereas the WH is directly in the line of sight from PA Ave to the northwest.
