P.E.Society English Medium High School and Junior College is a school in Thane East in India. It is located near The Hume Pipe.[1]

Enveloped in open and free atmosphere, A school functioning on democratic line, A school which is second family to students and teachers, A school imparts education with cultural values, A school which gives opportunities to each one grow everyday, A school where students find firm roots and emotional bonds. School churns out 100% result in SSC almost every year since its inception. PE. Society's English Medium Highschool and Junior College has been solely working on the guidelines set by our motto, which says 'Life is Work'. Every working day in this school progresses into realization of the above and working towards fulfilling the promises made to the students and their parents.

Education not only endeavors to create a congenial atmosphere conductive for growth but also helps them define character ethics and personality ethics effectively. This experience is further refined at our institution by the hardworking and and committed staff whose sole ambition is the well being of their students and the institution.
We at this institution not only impart syllabi-instruction which are result oriented but also organize co-curricular activities and encourage students to participate in inter school as well as intra school competitions to make them alert and responsible citizens who would be able to keep pace with the changing times.

People's Education Society was established on 1 April, 1936 to take charge of New English School which was started in Thane. It realized the need and growing importance of English language to progress in the field of Education and to remain connected with the world. P.E.S.T. started English Medium School with Junior Kindergarten in June 1976 with the annual growth, the school became Highschool and sanction for one division each of std. 8th, 9th and 10th was given in June 1985 by Mr. Ram Meghe, the then Education Minister. School then continued to expand, at present there are three divisions of each class and each class has strength of 65 to 68 students on average.
Mrs. Barve was promoted from primary section to become the Principal of P.E.S. English Medium Highschool. It was run in a wing of New English School building situated at Ram Maruti Road up to October 1994.
The first batch of S.S.C. consisting of 36 students appeared for Board Examination in March 1988 and secured 100% result. Ever since, the school has got 100% result at S.S.C. consistently, barring a couple of years.
In November 1994 school was shifted to a new building on Mithbunder Road, Thane (East).
In March 2002 not only did the school get 100% result but also Miss Kamble Smurti secured 14th rank in Merit List.
P.E. Society Believes in progress and expansion in the field of education, so Junior College of Science affiliate to English Medium High School was started in June 2003 to cater to the needs of students community.
The school building at present has 27 spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, a basement hall, a library, C.B.T. Room, Computer Lab, well-equipped science labs and a vast playground.
