P. P. Devaraj (February 21, 1929) is a Tamil politician representing Sri Lanka and whose origin is Indian . He belongs to the rich trading and landlord community of Vellalas in India. Mr.Devaraj was a senior Cabinet Minister holding many important portfolios in the Government of Sri Lanka .He is the incumbent president of the Global Organization for People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) and also the President of the GOPIO Sri Lanka chapter.
