P. C. Cast

P.C. Cast is a romance and fantasy novelist. She was born in Watseka, Illinois and currently lives in Oklahoma.
P.C. Cast's books are satires of Greek and Roman mythology in which a Goddess or, more often, a God falls in love with a modern woman. In May of 2007 she co-released a new series with her daughter, Kristin Cast, entitled "The House of Night Series", with the first book being Marked. She has been teaching English at a high school in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma since 1993. Every so often she also teaches at the Tulsa Community College. Her books have received numerous awards, including the Prism, Holt Medallion, Daphne du Maurier, Bookseller's Best, Affaire de Coeur Reader's Choice, and the Laurel Wreath awards. She teaches English at South Intermediate High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
