P-fluoromethoxyphenylhydrazone

P-fluoromethoxyphenylhydrazone (more commonly known as FCCP) is an ionophore that is a mobile ion carrier. FCCP makes the membrane in a cell leaky to hydrogen ions H⁺. This process is independent of ATP hydrolysis.
