Pål-Ørjan Johansen (born February 22, 1973 in Trondheim, Norway) is a Norwegian psychologist working at the Psychological Institute at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU. He was a Fulbright scholar and visiting researcher at Harvard Medical School and the University of Washington. His focus is psychotherapy process research, and the safety and efficacy of psychopharmacological (MDMA) augmentation of exposure therapy for PTSD. Johansen is the director of Evidence Knowledge Exchange, a Norwegian non-profit organization working for increased communication of leading research and international cooperation.
