Talk:Pâté de Foie Gras (short story)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Having just read the aforementioned story, I must admit I am stumped. In the introduction Asimov says that his story "was carefully designed to allow one rational answer to the question that was asked at the end." He goes on later to say that the advance of science allowed for another "answer that was better than any I had imaginined."
I am asking, please, what are the two answers Asimov spoke of? Perhaps the "new" one might be cloning. But what was the original answer? Someone out there must know it.
