[edit] Medical technologist

I don't think it's very helpful to add a "see also" for medical technologist to every article on medical laboratory investigations. Woulnd't it make more sense to integrate this fact into the article text ("the test is performed in the medical laboratory by a medical technologist - [or at the point-of-care by nurses or doctors]"). I would also suggest you make the article more international by merging relevant content from biomedical scientist, which presently tries inadequately to explain the UK situation.

Let me know if you have any questions. JFW | T@lk 18:10, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

I agree - I was rather surprised to see you'd added it to the article on ISEs. Medical technologists may use them, but it's not a directly related concept and it doesn't seem to explain much about the electrodes themselves... Jaeger5432 | Talk 19:53, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia canvassing

Just noting that your comment at Wikipedia talk:Trivia sections#Show your support for trivia, add your name to the list contains a statement which seems to be encouraging people to act directly against the established behavior guideline at WP:CANVASSING, specifically "send this link to other users that you feel would be interested". You may wish to remove that comment. John Carter 21:50, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Created the Trivia project

Inspired by your initiative, I created Wikipedia:WikiProject Trivia and Popular Culture. I hope you don't think of this as my stealing your thunder; I just know more about how to get such a project off the ground, so I did it. I don't intend to "lead" the project, not that Wikipedia has leaders anyway. I look forward to working with you on this issue.--Father Goose 23:22, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey Ozmaweezer, thanks for letting me know about this project. I'd been voicing this opinion on various articles and its good to have a central place we can coordinate from. Think outside the box 10:29, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Trivia

Hi, I hope this isn't canvassing but I was wondering if you would be interested in this Wikipedia:WikiProject Trivia and Popular Culture. If not, could you share this link with editors you think may be interested. Thanks Ozmaweezer 13:37, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Well, even if the first bit wasn't canvassing, the second bit definitely is. There are better ways to promote a project. Please leave me alone. Thanks – Gurch 17:03, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Also, where on earth did you get your spam list from? I mean, Brad Patrick? ... – Gurch 17:05, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
