[edit] Lee Mead Reviews
I preferred to quote the reviews - and I'd only had time to check the Independent. I've put the Mail's review up too, not. The wiki-prefects tend to object to unsubstantiated generalities - but I left your para in. I'll replace it when I've got the rest of the dailies and the Standard - oh yes, and the Stage (that's next Wednesday, unless they post review at thestage.co.uk before publishing them, which doesn't seem likely)
But thanks for your help. Any editing is welcome. And Talk, please, if you think my Loppyness is showing. Academe 11:08, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
No that's fine. I could have put more reviews on but my son came round and I had to stop. They have links to all the reviews on Digital Spy forums. Don't worry about your Loppyness! Replace my paragraph when you get round to it.Oyster24 21:41, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Will Young photo
Hi, it's probably easier if I direct you to Wikipedia:Uploading images for the guidelines on what to do. I hope it is helpful. Good luck. — AnemoneProjectors (?) 16:44, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Strictly Come Dancing
I've put in a request on WP:RPP for the page semi-protecting following the constant vandalism (not just of results!) ~~ [Jam][talk] 23:06, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Great, just what we want. Thanks very much. The people on Digital Spy are panicking! Oyster24 (talk) 23:08, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- LOL! Why are the people at Digital Spy panicking? Don't tell me that they rely on Wikipedia for Strictly results *rolls eyes* ~~ [Jam][talk] 23:14, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
They were until I put them right! (More eye rolling!). They are panicking because they cannot get their fix of the results because there aren't any of their friends at the show as it is in a smaller studio because of Children in Need being in the big one!Oyster24 (talk) 23:16, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- I guess they want to be the first to know the results :P. As long as they aren't the ones adding the results here... ~~ [Jam][talk] 23:22, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
I think whoever did it does go onto DS but is not necessarily a SCD fan. Some other stupid person. Now DS is down - could it be the BBC getting in on the act?Oyster24 (talk) 06:54, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well, previous weeks it has been more correct, and done at approximately the time the result would have been announced in the studio, which suggests that there were at the recording of SCD. I don't think the BBC would deliberately spoil the show by putting the result here, but it could happen. ~~ [Jam][talk] 09:20, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
What I meant is that may be the BBC had complained about the results being on DS and asked them to suspend the forums until the results had come in. However it is OK now.Oyster24 (talk) 14:47, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. Well, as mentioned mentioned on the talk page, it is the BBC's fault really for moving the results show to a Sunday evening, and expecting everyone to keep quiet until then. ~~ [Jam][talk] 14:49, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Exactly my pointOyster24 (talk) 14:51, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Edits to "Gethin Jones": references
Hi, thanks for your recent edits to "Gethin Jones". Following from our conversation on the article's talk page, can I urge you to remember to add references to reliable sources such as newspaper websites to show where you obtained the information from? Have a look at the edits I've made to see how to insert footnotes. If you're still unsure, just put the reference at the end of the information that you've added, like this:
This is the information.<ref>http://www.reliablesource.co.uk</ref>
Another editor will come along and put it in the right format. If you'd like to discuss the matter further, let's do so on the article's talk page. — Cheers, JackLee –talk– 23:01, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
