Oyibo is a Nigerian term originally meaning "white man" or "white woman". It has now slipped into pidgin English to mean something along the lines of 'foreigner'. It is regularly used by Nigerians to describe expatriates and returning expat Nigerians.
[edit] Origin
It originally comes from the Yoruba language and its literal definition is similar to "no skin".
