Oxford Civic Society

The Oxford Civic Society was founded in 1969 as a protest group to stop the wholesale destruction of the city of Oxford, England.
It is now an influential authority on all aspects of urban development. The Trust administers the Oxfordshire Blue Plaques Board, established in 1999.
