Ox-tongue pastry

Ox-tongue pastry (牛脷酥; pinyin: niú lì sū; Cantonese: ngau4 lei6 sou1) is a Chinese fried dough food that is elliptical in shape and resembles an ox tongue. The texture of this food is chewy and the fine on the inside and somewhat crunchy on the surface. Ox-tongue pastry is lightly sweetened, and eaten as part of breakfast with soy milk.
