Why the official logo is different to this
|
The most distinctive difference is that the 'window' in the Windows logo is curved in a 'flag' shape; this is not. Also:
- The colours are different -
-
- these are just the standard HTML colors - lightskyblue, green, yellow and a modified version of red to look more orange.
-
- The colors since Windows 95 have various gradients on them in the original; these don't, they are just the solid color.
- The 'window' in the Windows logo's corners are at right-angles; these are curved.
- The 'window' in some Windows logos since Windows 95 is rotated about 20 degrees; this is straight.
- The 'window' in the Windows logo since Windows XP has no border.
The Windows Logo includes text, this doesn't. Actually, the logo is used for various other purposes including Windows Media Center, in addition to the fact that there are two trademark signs in the image... one for the logo and one for the name Windows.
