Owl Creek Bridge (2007) is a short film produced by the independent film company Black Cleo Productions. It was directed by Brad Eggerton, and is based on the short story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" by Ambrose Bierce. Unlike the original story, this one is not set during the Civil War. Instead, it is set during World War II. It follows the story of a French resistance soldier who has been captured by Nazi soldiers.
The film was shot on-location in the small rural town of Tolar, Texas on the historical Rock Church Bridge - a cable and stayed truss suspension bridge built in 1917.
