Hi-- I am trying to add this link by simply using brackets to link to the Irish-language version of Wikipedia, but it doesn't work. How can I link to it? Thanks for helping. Evangeline (talk) 16:37, 26 March 2008

http://ga.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eoghan_Rua_%C3%93_S%C3%BAilleabh%C3%A1in

You can write the link like this: [[:ga:Eoghan Rua Ó Súilleabháin]] (note the leading colon!), which will then appear as ga:Eoghan Rua Ó Súilleabháin. However, this should not be done without very good reason, since readers following an in-text wikilink will expect to be taken to another English-language page. The correct place to link to the Gaelic-language version is among the interwiki links at the very bottom of the article, which will create an entry in the 'languages' box on the left side of the page. For that, you use the same syntax as above, but without the colon in front of "ga". Hope this helps. Hqb (talk) 21:01, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Also I have no idea what this means or how to find out what this means:

"This article has a deprecated non-null importance= parameter. It should be replaced with priority=."

I think that's a problem with the {{WikiProject Biography}} template having a misnamed parameter. Should be fixed now. Hqb (talk) 21:01, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you very much! Evangeline —Preceding comment was added at 22:53, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Deleted request for wikification/ quality control as I think it's mostly okay now. Please correct if I'm wrong. Evangeline (talk) 05:36, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

The article is indeed past Stub-class but is not yet past Start-class, the biography should have sections. The first several paragraphs are literary critique, with his birth buried near the middle of the piece. A works section should follow before the references, even a list of notable poems would be an adequate start. The material is good, but the format just needs some tweaking.
