Owen [aʊən] is a town in the district of Esslingen, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located 7 km south of Kirchheim unter Teck, and 29 km southeast of Stuttgart.

The name's pronunciation contradicts ordinary German pronunciation rules and is more similar to English standard pronunciation (see above). The name derives from the old word "Aue", meaning floodplain, and kept its ancient spelling.
