The school is home to the premier show choir in Acadiana, "The Magic Moods".[citation needed] Comeaux is also home to a Speech Squad, Science Club, French Club, Spanish Club, Art Club, Step Team, Cheerleading, Beta Club, Fish Camp, a music program, a Campus Christian Club, and the state's highest-quality band program[citation needed], known as the "Spectacular Band from Spartanland".

Brandon Stokley a record-breaking Professional American Footballer, played for the Comeaux High School Spartan Football Team.

Broussard Middle School, Youngsville Middle School , and Milton Middle School all act as feeder schools for Comeaux High School.

Comeaux provides secondary education to the southern portion of Lafayette Parish.
