Ovcha kupel

Ovcha Kupel (Bulgarian: Овча Купел) is a municipality located in the south-western parts of Sofia. As of 2006 it has 47,380 inhabitants. It is located at 6 km to the south-west of the City centre.

The municipality is home of Slavia Sofia, one of the oldest football clubs in the country with a 30,000 stadium. The New Bulgarian University with more than 7,000 students is situated there. There are 9 schools and 5 chitalishta. It is also a home of some famous bulgarian sports tipsters as Sla K., very close friend of the local leader - Djukata.
