Ovation Films is an American video production company founded in North Washington, D.C. by Michael Stephenson in 1965. First known to create animated openings, the company also produced short films and edited documentaries. It stopped its activities in 2003. Their telecine was the company name on top of a black screen, then on the center the episode name and finally on the bottom the date of production and duration, all followed by a 10-second countdown. When the countdown reaches the 2, we hear a «beep» as the words «OVATION FILMS, INC.» sticks on the countdown (Except on «Reading Rainbow»).
