Ouvrage Le Lavoir was a work (gros ouvrage) of the Maginot Line's Alpine extension, the Alpine Line, also called the Little Maginot Line. The ouvrage consisted of two entry blocks, one infantry block, three artillery blocks and one observation block facing Italy.
