[edit] License tagging for Image:298 0.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:298 0.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:04, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] India image
Hi! I have reverted your map of India to the old one: IndiaMap2.PNG. Reasons why:
- Format is incorrect (jpg). jpg's are used for photgraphs. Maps should be ideally svg, if not possible then png.
- POV: Shows the territory as claimed by India and does not differenciate the differences between the areas claimed/administered by China and Pakistan. Wikipedia neutral point of view policy states that text and images should be neutrally written
- We already have a state map, we need a city/geographical map
Regards
This is your last warning. Please do not revert images without discussion! Regards, --Anon
- I'm sorry, the map may not be 100% NPOV, but it is a lot more NPOV than the one you're putting up. The map you've put up shows the territory as claimed by India as integral Indian territory. The most NPOV map would be the one as given below.
- Secondly the map put up by you Image:India-map.jpg has been modified from http://www.mapsofindia.com/maps/india/india-political-map.htm without their permission. As per wikipedia policies has to be deleted. Maps of India must give us the freedom to use their content for commercial use, and allow derivatives. Please don't do this in the future.
- Since you seem to be pretty decent at photoshopping image, I suggest you start learning how to use vector images such as inkscape to draw India maps. You can also consider joining Wikipedia:WikiProject India Maps.
- We already have a state map. We need a physical map.
- Please remember your format is incorrect. We prefer svg images.

[edit] Zakir Naik article sources
can you please discuss your insistence on including forum posts as sources in an encyclopedic article?? you keep reverting any changes without discussion. The article is pretty poor as it is- I just randomly came across it just because someone told me about this guy and found it to be the poorest i've seen on wikipedia! having forum posts as sources certainly isn't helping it... the reader doesn't need to read the views of 'random person X' on some forum to realize that Naik's claim that eating pork makes a person behave like a pig to be completely bonkers! So can we please sort this out? --khello 21:05, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Outsider u seems to be either ignorant or stupid. dont change anything without giving proper reason and having a DISCUSSION. i have reverted it and if u do it again I will report u to be blocked. if u think i have done any vandalism prove it. i have given all the references for whatever i have written. Outsider keep yourself outside, dont go and revert everything just because u hate something. you know how many times u have been blocked. do you want to get blocked again.
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:ZakrN.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:ZakrN.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Zakir Naik
hello, please do not revert to the unencyclopedic view-spam version, it was subsequently stubbed as per consensus on the talk page. we base biographical articles on secondary sources. view-spamming with primary sources contains an element of original research as to determining what views, if any, are actually notable. please do not revert material referenced to secondary, reliable sources. i would encourage you to engage on the talk page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Adam Gilchrist, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - It is not wrong to say what you said, but Wikipedia is not the place for that sort of message. Wikipedia is not a discussion board or a soapbox where you can discuss your feeling about topics. It is an encyclopaedia and discussion should focus on improving the encyclopedia. -- Mattinbgn\talk 01:48, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
