[edit] where it can go

Where can a Computer output go?

I think all three articles should be merged Pweterc

As do I, they are related and should be merged under that reason for an easier and more informational page jackylegs131

I agree, it would be useful. Robk

[edit] Diagree with proposed merger

I disagree that Dispalys should be merged with Output devices. Displays are now much more than simple computer output devices such as printers or mice. Displays are used in a wide variety of applications (cell phones, digital cameras, mp3 players, car sterios, gps devices). There are a wide variety of display technologies (LCD, plasma, OLED, CRT) currently in use. There is an entire technical society, the Society for Information Display http://www.sid.org/ dedicated to the development and application of displays.

Based on all of this, I believe that Displays certainly deserve their own page. It would be peferctly fine for 'output devices' to make reference to the displays page. However, attempting to encapsulate the entire field and technology of displays under output devices would be inappropriate.
