[edit] Needs reliable sources
See WP:RS. A website is usually notable in its own estimation. We want to know if anyone else agrees. Surely if Outloud.tv is notable, someone in the media would have commented on it. Any independent press mentions would be useful. EdJohnston 00:25, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
I think that the notability tag can be removed. Outloud.TV is simply the 'father of youtube' in every -technical- way. Started in 2003. Jupiter research said that the usage of automated Flash video conversion was key to the success of Youtube (that was 2005) Outloud did the same thing for 2 years already (2003). That pretty much makes it notable by itself. Let alone the fact that Outloud is still active AND broadcasts to local TV stations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.83.71.69 (talk • contribs) 14 July, 2007
- I think there is no case for removing the notability tag. If they were a true precursor of Youtube, don't you think someone in the press would have noticed and commented on it? If you don't believe the notability tag is appropriate, I think the article should be considered for deletion, because I doubt that anyone is going to add sources.
