There is an article that appears under that sub-heading now in Wikipedia. However, I wonder whether it really merits its own section, and whether it could go in the section on Prejudice to make that section more "psychological" in scope. I note that the article, although generally accurate, does not mention that on occasion, there can be overestimation of homogeneity of one's ingroup, although this is an exception to the general rule that people think that there ingroups are more heterogeneous than outgroups. Also, I think that Patricia Linville, and perhaps some other psychologists, could be mentioned in connection with this toipc. 195.93.21.105 20:53, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
