[edit] History

Native Americans named Outlook from the beautiful scenic outlook from the banks of the South Saskatchewan River valley. Settlement of the area began in the early 1900's, and auctioning of lots began in 1908. CPR service provided the raw materials for the resulting building boom, and Outlook officially became a town on November 1, 1908.
