Outerspace are an underground hip hop duo that grew up in the same North Philadelphia neighborhood. Originally a trio consisting of the three Puerto Rican friends that then took the artist names Planet, Jedeye and Crypt. The founding member Mario Collazo was then attending 10th grade, while the other two, Richard Cruz and Marcus Albaladejo, were in 8th grade. Today the group only consists of two members, now known as Planetary and Crypt The Warchild. The group is well known in Philadelphia but are today getting more fans all around the globe. Also good friends of hip hop duo Jedi Mind Tricks.

Recently on Outerspace's MySpace page, Planetary left a blog about a new interview discussing the new Army of the Pharaohs album, Ritual of Battle, where he also mentioned that there will be a new Outerspace album sometime after the new year.
