Out of the Blue (1996 TV series)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Out of the Blue (1996) was a syndicated sitcom for teenagers filmed on location at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, USA and distributed by Tribune Entertainment. It is notable for each of its 22 episodes being filmed in both Spanish and English simultaneously and starred a mostly Hispanic cast that hailed from several different nationalities.

The show was also dubbed into German as "Sommer Sonne Florida" and Italian as "Un salto nel blu" but ironically was poorly-distributed and largely unknown in the USA or Latin America.

Among the show's young cast was Spanish fashion model Veronica Blume, who's budding real-life modeling career was occasionally incorporated into the show's storyline, and Paulo Benedeti, who would later play recurring roles on American soap operas.
