The Out of Door Academy, commonly called ODA, is a private school based in Sarasota, Florida. It consists of two schools. One, the lower school, or grades k-6, is based on Siesta Key. The upper school, which is based in Lakewood Ranch, consists of grades 7-12. Its team mascot is the Thunder. It is noted for its college prep and rigorous education along with its highly known athletic department.
