Ouro Verde

Coordinates: 21°29′22″S, 51°42′01″W Ouro Verde (meaning green gold) is a municipality/county in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 is 7,176 and the area is 267.29 km². The elevation is 350 m.

The name 'Ouro Verde' has also come into use to describe a crystal of Brazilian origin. It is so named because it's colour is gold-green.
