Our Lady of the Desert School (OLAD) is a coeducational private Roman Catholic combination Preschool, Elementary, Middle School and High school located in Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, California, USA. It was founded in 1983, and owns its own facility, which includes a 280-occupancy chapel and tennis courts, on five acres of land.[1] The school is orthodox Catholic in curriculum and administration.[2]

OLAD has 56 students and 7 teachers, with 6 additional administration and support staff.[3] This gives it a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio;[4] the California average is 16.[5] The Principal is Susan Twaddle.[6]

It describes its primary purpose as saving souls with education as a means to that end.[1]
