[edit] History
The College was founded in 1928 by the Sisters of Our Lady of Sion with 15 students. MM John was the first Director/Principal who led the new school through the financial difficulties of the Depression.
The Sisters had almost nothing for themselves as they wanted the College to get underway.
Enrollment continued to grow and by 1958 there were 238 girls studying at the College. Now over 750 students are taught and supported by almost 100 staff members.

At VCE level, students are able to choose from a broad range of studies enabling them to construct programs in Humanities, Arts, Mathematics and Science, Technology and Business areas. Students may also enroll in VET programs (linked in particular to the Hospitality, Children's Services, Clothing and Design and Horse Studies industries) as part of their VCE.
