[edit] History

OLPH was opened in 1946 in Dallas, Texas. It was run by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word from 1946 until 1972. From 1972 until 1995 education at the school was administered by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. The school was on the verge of closing in 1995, but the Diocese of Dallas kept OLPH open with a lay principal due to petitions from the families of students.

[edit] Mission Statement

The mission of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School is to provide a quality, faith-based education in a safe environment, enabling children to successfully continue their education and become productive members of their community

[edit] Recent Upgrades

OLPH was recently the beneficiary of the generosity of the Technology Luv Committee at Southwest Airlines. From corporate donations and employee volunteers from Southwest Airlines, OLPH received a new fiber optics network, monitors, computers, and upgrades for existing computers. The lighting and landscaping on the outside of the campus was also upgraded thanks to the volunteers.
