Our Lady & St Patrick's High School is situated in the Castlehill area of Dumbarton, Scotland. It is the only Catholic school in the region.

They have a reputation of having good school football teams and many professional players have come out of the school.

They Play in Green and white.

They have been the most successful team in the West Dunbartonshire region, rivals from schools such as the inferior Hermitage Academy and Vale Of Leven Academy are simply obsolete. OLSP Home pitch is Havoc. Songs like "walk on", "aint no sunshine" and "o when the saints" are recognized as their anthems. They also have many pro youth players among the ranks. Their under 15's team ran a savvy last year coached by tactical mastermind James Beattie despite being made up of a group of unsightly, hacket boys who have not yet reached puberty.

[edit] History

A nun fell down the lift shaft and her ghost is said to haunt the school. When passing the 3rd floor in the lift you can sometimes see the bloody handprint on the wall as she tried to stop herself from falling to her death. Pupils and staff have often reported a presence in the lift when they are on their own. There was also a time when the school had irn-bru vending machines but these were removed with the introduction of Charles Rooney as Head Teacher.

[edit] Bus Monitors

OLSP is renowned for it's dodgy school buses and terrible bus monitors. The school buses (all well over 15 years old) are falling apart. One of the most famous bus monitors is 'Janice' with common catch phrases such as: "See on Mundeh, Your doon eh frunt!"; "DOON EH FRUNT"; "KIERAN!"; "Am No Kerin". She is mocked throughout the school and even the teachers are tired of her reporting pupils.

Davey the bus monitor is also another key factor in defining dodgy bus monitors. He is well known to often coin the phrase: "I'll get my son tae batter ye" and has been witnessed "squaring up" to pupils.
