Boku no Watashi no Yūsha Gaku (ぼくのわたしの勇者学, Boku no Watashi no Yūsha Gaku? roughly "Our Hero Studies") is a new manga series by Shuichi Aso. It began serialization in the May 14, 2007 issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump.

A mysterious "transfer student" shows up in a peaceful classroom at Holy Lance Academy. Their teacher announces that he is quitting because he won the summer jumbo lottery and continuing to teach would be stupid, much to the disgust and surprise of the students. It's suddenly revealed that the weird new student is actually their new homeroom teacher, Haganeno Ken, who wastes no time in saying that he is a hero.

- Ken Haganeno (鋼野 剣, Haganeno Ken?)
- A 23 year-old self-proclaimed "natural born hero" who is suddenly hired to teach the new "Hero Studies" curriculum at Holy Lance. He doubles as the homeroom teacher for class 1-A. He has a large collection of weapons, among them the Maji Yabei Blade (マジ ヤベェ 剣, Maji Yabei Blade? lit. Honestly Dangerous Sword). Despite the fact that he lists "kindness" as one of a hero's three virtues, he doesn't have an ounce of kindness in him.
- Yoshida (吉田, Yoshida?)
- The former homeroom teacher for class 1-A, he has since quit his job after winning a huge amount of money in the lottery.
- Muchiko Ibaraki (茨城 ムチコ, Ibaraki Muchiko?)
- A strict, young, beautiful English teacher who is very popular amongst the students. She ranks number 1 among the boys in the "Which teacher would you want to get extra, one-on-one, after school private lessons from?" charts.
- Jun Kōno (河野 盾, Kōno Jun?)
- The main student character who plays the straight man to Haganeno's antics.
- Masayuki Munemura (宗村 まさゆき, Munemura Masayuki?)
- A dangerous problem child in class 1-A, he has a shaved head with many scars, some supposedly received in a fight, and one X-shaped scar he cut into himself out of admiration for Himura Kenshin. Reforms after Haganeno beats him with a flail.
- Akiyama (秋山, Akiyama?)
- A black-haired student.
- Kimura (木村, Kimura?)
- An energetic boy with glasses who gets excited about big events.
- The class rep (委員長, The class rep?)
- 1-A's class rep. She's brave and not afraid to stand up for her classmates.
