Our American Cousin (opera)

Our American Cousin is an opera in three acts by the American composer Eric Sawyer. The opera tells the story of Abraham Lincoln’s final evening through the eyes of the actors and audience at Ford’s Theater. The world premiere performance will occur on June 20, 2008 at the Academy of Music Theater in Northampton, MA, featuring the Boston Modern Orchestra Project.
