[edit] Nfl quarterbacks
I noticed your comment on talk:nfl quarterbacks, and made the page redirect to quarterback, which is preferable to deletion since people can type "nfl quarterback" into the search box and still end up at the relevant article. You can read more about redirects (our equivalent of "See [topic]" in paper encyclopedias) here: Help:Redirect. Kimchi.sg 02:58, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Pos-box1.gif
Hello Oughgh, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Pos-box1.gif) was found at the following location: User:Oughgh. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 05:21, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:2005CWSlogo.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:2005CWSlogo.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:33, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vandy vs. Miami U.
I'm quite impressed you found the obscure Miami reference on Vandy's baseball page! Hope you didn't take any offense from the matter - none was intended. Oughgh (talk) 04:01, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- No offense taken at all... in fact, I was going for a lighthearted mood. On a lark, I looked to see what links to "Miami of Ohio". As I recall, there were two articles and three archived talk pages. So needless to say it didn't take much to make the appropriate edits. -- JeffBillman (talk) 08:13, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:ACC baseball parks
A tag has been placed on Template:ACC baseball parks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:41, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Legends field.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Legends field.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 22:05, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
