Otukaia blacki is a medium-sized deepwater sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc.

This species is endemic to the east coast of Northland in the North Island of New Zealand, and New Zealand's Chatham Islands.

This deepwater top shell lives at depths of between 400 and 620 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is of moderate size, thin, conical, imperforate, sculptured with a double peripheral keel, two secondary keels above it, two more at the top of the base, and several more minor spirals on the base towards the pillar.
The external shell coloration is creamy-white, but strongly iridescent both externally and within the aperture. The radula is similar to that of Calliostoma species, the innermost marginal being very large and hooked, bearing five strong cusps.
The shell height is up to 29 mm, and the width is up to 26 mm.
