Otley Cricket Club is the premier cricket club in Wharfedale and currently play in Division A of the Airedale and Wharfedale Senior Cricket League. The Club officers are President Michael Rhodes, Chairman Chris Smith and 1st team Captain is James Davies.
Players at the club include Jonathan Hughes, Matthew O'Grady, Paul Nicholson, Gary Thompson, Alex Bailey, Andrew Rhodes, Sam Smith, David Taylor, Richard Taylor, Graeme Woilfenden, Charlie Davy, Chris Keddle and ex professional Vincent Jackson.
Otley's overseas player for 2008 will be Adam Vale, an Australian from Dandedong in Melbourne
The club's 2nd team lost the final of the 2007 Birtwhistle Cup, going down to defeat at the hands of Kirstall Educational in an entertaining final that was held at North Leeds CC.
The club's 1st team lost the final of the 2006 Waddilove Cup, going down to defeat at the hands of the all-conquering Bilton CC in an entertaining final at Pool-In-Wharfedale CC.
