Otis Clay

Otis Clay (born February 11, 1942 in Waxhaw, Mississippi) is a traditional rhythm & blues or soul musician who started in Gospel music. He began with Gospel groups like Christian Travelers and Gospel Songbirds then switched to secular music in the mid-1960s.[1] Starting in the 1970s he became noted for styles like Soul blues and one of his songs was covered by Bob Seger.[2] He was also a nominee for the Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance.
