I wanted to welcome you to Wikipedia. If you’d like to get started with some introductory reading (if you’ve not done so already), here are a few resources that may be helpful to you:

Also, there are just a few basic rules:

• Visit the Sandbox to make test edits. You can experiment with Wikipedia using it.
• Respect the copyrights of others. Copy and paste is usually not permitted, so please don’t do it!
• Write with a neutral point of view and add only verifiable information when editing articles. An encyclopedia cannot have any bias in an article—this is extremely important! If you see a non-neutral point of view, be bold and fix it; if you see information that needs a reference, also be bold and attempt to fix that (or add {{fact}} where you think a citation is needed).
• Be careful with your edits. Any non-neutral writing, advertising, spam, or copyrighted text added to a Wikipedia article is considered vandalism, and may be dealt with appropriately.
