[edit] Band history
The band was formed in 1990 by Zvonko Pantović (vocals), Dragan Urošević (guitar), Nebojša Jakovljević (keyboard), Saša Popović (bass guitar) and Miša Raca (drums). Laza Ristovski and Dejan Dačović were also involved in the band's activity.
Their first two albums Krv i led ("Blood and ice") and Sam ("Alone") were sweet metal oriented, and their power ballads "Možda nebo zna" and "S kim čekaš dan" saw major success, even at more pop oriented audience. After releasing compilation album The Best Of the band disbaned. Miša Raca retired because of drug addiction problems. After recording song "Vino crveno" with band Prvi Čin, Zvonko Pantović formed pop-folk band Osvajači All Stars. Nebojša Jakovljević soon joined the band.
Osvajači continued their activity in 1999 with the new lineup: Dragan Urošević (guitar), Saša Popović (rhytm guitar), Saša Marković (bass guitar), Nenad Branković (drums) and Nenad Jovanović (vocals). The band released promo CD with songs "Samo ti" and "Minut ćutanja", and soon afterwards more hard rock oriented album Vrelina ("Heat"). Album featured a cover of Rainbow song "Rainbow Eyes", Osvajači version titled "Tragovi".
Nenad Jovanović joined Stratus in 2003. In 2005 Osvajači reunited in the original lineup.
