[edit] Macintosh bias: FourCC should be un-merged
FourCC and OSType are not the same thing, as OSType does not exist on non-Macintosh platforms, and FourCC is encoded into AVI files in a different place than OSType. Merging FourCC with this was a mistake. – Andyluciano 19:11, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
